By subway from Kyoto Station

1	Take one of the front cars on the subway train to Kokusai_kaikan. $B!o(B250yen$B!!(B
2	in 13 minutes rides, Get off at Kitaoji station(station number ; K04)
3	Take #1 exit (near the front car)
4	Go through the ticket gate, turn left and go up the escalator
5	Walk 100 meters to Imamiya dori (street)
6	Then follow the red line on the map above, that is, turn left and walk along Imamiya dori, then turn right at the first traffic lights. It takes about five minutes to get to the "Y" intersection of Gen'i dori (there is a very tall tree and a huge landscape rock at the intersection), turn left here, then take the first right and look for the Yurakuso sign.

By bus from Kyoto Station
(You can do sightseeing )

1	take #9 city bus in front of Kyoto Station (at B1 area bus terminal) http://www.city.kyoto.jp/kotsu/busdia/busstop/bus_stop.htm#061 $B!o(B220yen$B!!!!(B
2	you can see Hongwanji temple on your left. http://www2.hongwanji.or.jp/english/
3	then Nijo castle on your left http://www.city.kyoto.jp/bunshi/nijojo/
4	in about 25-30 minutes bus rides
5	Get off at the "Kamogawachugakumae" bus stop.
6	Please phone us from there (there is pay phone) Or Go back to the signal and turn left at the signal and walk 100m. Turn left again at the first corner. Yurakuso is second on the left.

You can catch buses from our bus stop to most major locations in Kyoto Buses going to:
1	Kyoto city center
2	Kyoto Station (Shinkansen bullet train)
3	Hankyu line (for Osaka and Kobe)
4	Keihan line (for Shiga and Lake Biwa)
